Harriett Hodges Hughes
Mom and I spent the weekend in Tennessee exploring libraries and cemeteries. This is the tombstone of Harriett Hodges Hughes,Georgia’s grandmother. She is buried in Maple GroveCemetery outside of Lafayette. The death date has never been put on the stone, she died August 9, 1950. She was born in Tennessee, the daughter of Ezekiel and Sally Ashlock Hodges. She married George Lafayette Hughes who was 25 years older than she and together they had ten children. - Cyndi

Do you have the names of the children? I believe one of them Mary (Molly) was married to James A Parker whose parents were Cap Parker and Bettie Fuqua.
