This is Robert (Bob) and Ada Belle Brandon Vance with their daughters Zona and Edna. They are Georgia’s grandparents. In the notes Buck shared with me he has this about Bob – “Bob Vance was named for his grandfathers, Thomas Vance and Robert Johns. He worked in timber and lumber most of his life and also farmed. He drove two and three team hitches in delivering lumber and logs. He worked for Walter Livingston and his operation on Long Creek and went with them to Westmoreland. He also worked in the planing mill in Westmoreland. While with the Livingstons on Long Creek he delivered the lumber to Hartsville. Several of the houses on Church Street were built with this lumber. In later life after, Ada died, he farmed with Duffy."
